Drive smooth and your red cow cheers.

Akabekun is a little red cow that rides on your dashboard and nods along with your car. Every trip gets a smoothness score, so calm driving turns into a small game.

Akabekun, a red cow with golden horns and a blocky cream muzzle

Watch it flinch on a real road.

These are real drives, replayed in the app. The cow moves exactly as the app moves it. Nothing was animated by hand.

Calm roadAfter a few quiet seconds it starts to smile.
A turnIt leans into the bend.
A potholeIt falls apart, then gets dizzy.
A hard brakeIt is thrown back with its eyes squeezed shut.

Mount your phone before you drive and never touch it on the road. Akabekun reacts on its own.

See exactly why you lost points.

Every trip ends with a score and a breakdown. Potholes never cost points, because the road is not your fault.

Meet the lucky red cow.

The akabeko, "red cow" in the dialect of Aizu in Fukushima, is a papier-mâché toy whose head bobs at the slightest touch. People have given it for centuries as a charm for health and luck. The "-kun" is the friendly ending Japanese mascots wear.
