Hvatun. Snowflake-catching game
A snowy forest wrapped all the way around you. Turn on the spot to find the snowflakes, and catch them with a mitten before the clock runs out.
The scene is a 360° panorama, so the phone is a window rather than a screen: point it up and there is sky, turn around and there are more trees. Snowflakes fall everywhere in it, including behind you, and the only way to find them is to physically turn.
There is one control and it is your own body. What the game actually gets you to do is stand up and spin in the middle of a room, which is the whole joke — and the reason a warning about watching your balance is not entirely a joke.
Spin 360°
Catch snowflakes as you spin around. The phone acts as a continuous viewport into the snowy clearing.
How many can you grab?
Sixty seconds on the clock. Turn fast enough to sweep the entire room and catch as many snowflakes in the mitten as you can before time runs out.
The screens
The snowflake behind you counts too, if you turn around fast enough.
A round
Start, and the count begins at zero with the best score sitting under it. Snowflakes drift into the panorama from every direction at once, so most of them are out of frame at any moment — the score is really a measure of how quickly you sweep the room.
It shipped in February 2025 as a single scene and a clock. Levels came later, in version 1.5, which is named after them. Free to play, with the full version at a dollar; 4+, English and Russian.
