The phone turns your movements into robot noises. Wave it about and it answers — or let the robot lead and copy it back.
Robotun listens to the phone rather than to you: move it, and it makes a mechanical sound to match. That is the whole engine, and the app puts it to work twice.
In training mode nobody is keeping score. You move the phone however you like and it answers — and the trick the app is really built around is hiding it up your sleeve, so the noises appear to be coming from your own arm.
Training & Challenge
Training mode — wave the phone however you like, and it answers with robot sounds.
Up a sleeve, the sound stops belonging to the phone and starts belonging to your arm.
Then the robot takes charge
Challenge mode turns the same engine around. Now the robot moves and you copy it: three lives in the corner, the score beside them, and a sequence that gets longer the further you go. What is being trained is agility and coordination — you are repeating a movement, not tapping a pattern.
